LIND approached Outwest to produce a film showcasing their electric surfboard, The Canvas. Our goal was to merge the driven pace of an automotive commercial with the fluidity of a surf film. The Canvas features one of the most powerful motors in the world for its weight, and we set out to capture both its raw speed and effortless elegance—selling the dream of the endless turn.
From creative vision to final execution, every piece of this production was a coordinated team effort. We assembled our top crew in our home city of San Diego, CA. Using high-speed cameras, drones, in-water cameras, gimbals, and a dedicated camera boat, we captured a wide range of dynamic shots to drive the energy of the edit and immerse viewers in the ride.
